Resident Profile:

Attila Pasek

I was born in Hungary and I grew up under the protecting wings of an amateur photographer father. On my christening, instead of holy water, the priest used developer, stop bath and fixer. However, this perfect planning was all in vain. I became a little overdeveloped.

I have a very diverse way of life but during the years I never lost sight of photography. I have more than 10 years experience of professional photography.

My pursuit of new experiences pushes me to continually evolve my vision, while reminding myself of the importance of maintaining my usual level of compassion and curiosity, and not forgetting to add a pinch of humour to my work whenever possible.

I use film and archaic methods for picture making. I like to have a materialistic result. I’m kind of a new boy in the Factory Studios. I hope I can fit in perfectly.

I love the set up in my darkroom studio. Maybe my darkroom is small, but with the spacious upstairs studio, it is a perfect combination to create fine art. The society of the Factory Studios inspires me to achieve more creative work.
